Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Brilliant coat
I really like this coat and was a bit concerned about the reviews on line. Spoke to them in store and they’ve had no problems with them. Brought the red one, hiked yesterday, great coat.
Nice jacket, good quality
Not a warm and cosy jacket, but waterproof and wind proof however are thermals needed in the cold, did expect better for the cost.. Love Dave Browns review of the reviews BTW, far from helpful!
Waterproof jacket
You have to laugh at some of the other reviews here.
It's not meant to be a warm jacket, its not insulated. It is wind proof and waterproof - but thats it.
Not waterproof
This is barely water resistant but certainly not waterproof. Unfortunately had it too long before I got to properly try it out so can't return. Partners montane coat exactly the same too.
Avoid.
Appalling. Not waterproof, not very water-resistant either. Goretex petty poor at the best of times but this next to useless. Replaced a £60 4 year old Decathlon jacket with this, should have kept it!
Simply Awful - not waterproof.
Failed badly on first 2 walks with both pockets and front zip letting in significant amounts of water. I have a £50 Peter Storm that is more waterproof ! Definite return !

This comes close to my 20 year old 140£ non Gortex (TK )Montane, string hardshell, waterproof, not warm, needs layers underneath, 3 big pockets, hood easy to roll and fix , good velcro.bit sti

i walked 9 miles in the rain and while the jacket held up i was more wet inside due to sweat then anything else. Fits well, good for wind but cold in the water. Not very breathable.
Great Gortex shell jacket
Really pleased with this jacket - well made in all seams and zips. I'd echo all other reviews and suggest buying one size up. I'm an XL but the XXL is a perfect fit
Good, but not warm therefore not as good as expected!
This jacket is invincible in terms of being waterproof, however it is not a warm jacket, in fact its far from it! a base & mid layer as a min. needs to accompany this jacket with it being uninsulated!

Be very careful when ordering size I ordered XXL and it is so small can't even fasten it up more like a small than a XXL

Very happy with the fit, I had to size up but all round its a well made good quality jacket.
Ok for brief showers or wind breaker, but not at all waterproof.
